Two-thirds of men would snog a girl with swine flu

Survey suggests 71 per cent of men wouldn't let a little viral infection get in the way of a good snog

MORE than two-thirds of men wouldn’t let a little thing like a potentially fatal virus stop them kissing an attractive woman, a new survey suggests.

The survey of 10,000 men found that 71 per cent of them would still kiss a beautiful woman if they met her in a bar, even if she had already told them that she had swine flu.

The research, carried out by www.puatraining.com, the UK’s “premier seduction agency”, found that 29 per cent of men were being more careful about who they kissed in clubs and bars, and that 21 per cent wouldn’t even give their mobile to a glamour model so she could input her number if they knew she’d been to a hospital in the past 24 hours.

Puatraining.com’s CEO Richard La Ruina, who describes himself as the UK’s most successful seduction guru, said: "Swine flu is no joke - and the impact on the dating scene of 100,000 new cases of swine flu in England last week shouldn’t be underestimated.

"This finding redefines the phrase 'pulling a pig'"

"This finding redefines the phrase 'pulling a pig'."

Professor Sally Bloomfield, of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, said: "Passionate kissing of someone who may be in the early stages of infection could be risky, but so is being in close proximity at all to someone who is constantly sneezing and nose-blowing."

There are questions over the scientific validity of the survey, as its subjects were self-selected from www.puatraining.com’s clients, and may therefore be keener for female contact than the population at large.

La Ruina’s figure of 100,000 new cases is apparently based on the reported number of people who contacted their GP with fears over swine flu last week. There are no accurate figures on the number of new cases in the UK.
