Are baby boar and pint-size dog more than friends?

Jack Russell Candy and Manni seem involved despite the difference in species

11 May 2009

A BABY boar and a little dog have proved there is more to love than just wagging tails.

The unlikely pair - Manni, a five-week-old boar, and Candy, a Jack Russell terrier - appear to have fallen for one another, despite their difference in species.

The playful pair bounce around with one another and - as though they are kissing - touch snout with muzzle, to the delight of their owners.

The couple met when Manni moved into Candy's home in west Germany after he was found abandoned in the forest.

The owners, who live in Ehringhausen, hand-feed Manni to ensure he gets all the nutrients he needs.
