Tottenham are on the verge of signing Sebastien Bassong
According to reports, the Newcastle United and France defender has passed a medical at White Hart Lane

NEWCASTLE UNITED defender Sebastien Bassong is on the verge of signing for Tottenham Hotspur after passing a medical.
Earlier this month, Spurs boss Harry Redknapp denied agreeing a £10m deal with Newcastle for the player’s services.
But according to reports the France centre-half could finalise a switch to White Hart Lane within 24 hours.
Redknapp has made no secret of his desire to add a centre-half to his squad before the beginning of the season, following the injuries to defensive trio Michael Dawson, Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate.
And Bassong, 23, is desperate to seal a move away from Newcastle following their relegation from the Premier League last season.
