CARLO ANCELOTTI reckons Ashley Cole can get even better, after signing a new long-term deal at Chelsea.
The Blues defender committed his future to Stamford Bridge, signing a new four-year deal on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old became the second Chelsea player this week to pen a new contract, after club skipper John Terry penned a five-year deal on Monday.
"I believe his best is yet to come"
And Ancelotti reckons Cole still has plenty to offer for both club and country.
The Blues boss said: "I am very happy that Ashley has committed himself to Chelsea. He is one of the best left-backs in the world but I believe his best is yet to come. I am very pleased that will happen in a Chelsea shirt."
Cole, who controversially signed from London rivals Arsenal in 2006, was voted Chelsea’s Players Player of the Year last season, after becoming the first player in the modern era to win five FA Cup winners’ medals.
