Shoe nuts sleep rough for Kanye West trainers

KANYE West fans slept rough for five nights outside two London stores to get hold of an extremely limited edition of his trainers.
A total of just 80 pairs of Series 3 shoes were available at Nike Town in Shoreditch and Size? on Neal Street in Soho over the weekend.
The £150 trainers, with designs chosen by the 31-year-old rapper, could go for hundreds of pounds on eBay.
More than 30 people, mostly men, set up tents and blankets from Monday 1 until Saturday 6 June.
Student Arif Maliq, 20, camped out for the shoes. He said although he had little chance of bagging his size, “I love Kanye so I don’t care.”
Shop supervisor Michael Ramirez, 23, owns a staggering 80 pairs of trainers. He said: “Kanye looked at all the Nike trainers ever made and grabbed all the best bits.”
