AN actor who stars in the Government’s swine flu advert on TV has contracted the virus.
David McCusker, from Sutton in Surrey, stars in the NHS video showing a man sneezing and warning people “to catch it, bin it, kill it”.
But it seems he did not follow the advice. After coming down with a fever, the 30-year-old called the national hotline and was told he should see his GP, who confirmed he had the virus.
He said: “I have been shivering, shaking and spreading it. It was a shock when I found out.

"I quarantined myself to sweat it out. I’ve been getting lots of stick from mates. I caught it, did not bin it and spread it all over the place.”
Meanwhile, the first wave of the pandemic appears to be on its way out, with the number of new cases in England last week dropping to 30,000 from 110,000 the week before.
Ministers are considering plans to immunise all school children between the ages of five and 16, amid fears of a second wave when the schools return in the autumn.
