A MAN is in hospital following a stabbing in central Croydon.

The man, believed to be 32, was found with stab wounds to the chest on the junction between High Street and George Street in the south London borough.
The incident took place at 6:15pm on Tuesday. Police and ambulance services were called at 7pm. The man was found outside Tiger Tiger nightclub, although the attack is not believed to be connected with the venue.
The unnamed man was rushed to a south London hospital and is said to be in a stable condition.
A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police said: "We were called to High Street, near the junction of George Street.
"London Ambulance Service sent an air ambulance, a fast response car, an ambulance crew and a duty manager."
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing. A 32-year-old man was taken as a priority to hospital."
Croydon police are investigating the incident. No arrests have been made and as yet there is no description of any suspects.
