Man shot dead in West Norwood
Police are hunting for a gunman who shot dead a 24-year-old man in Harpenden Road in West Norwood, south-west London

POLICE have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot dead in south-west London in the early hours of this morning.
The 24-year-old was gunned down in Harpenden Road in West Norwood just before 1am.
A spokeswoman for the Met Police said: “Officers attended the scene at 00.49am and found the body of a man aged 24 years, dead at the scene.
“We await formal identification and next of kin.”
The road remained sealed off today as detectives carried out inquiries.
So far there have been no arrests.
The killing is the latest in a string of shootings which have blighted the area.
Residents in nearby Tulse Hill have demanded CCTV cameras be installed after three separate shootings in the past two months.
