Interactive sex academy

Interactive sex academy

London's first sex academy is opening to explain everything you always wanted to know about sex but were afraid to ask.

Amora, the Academy of Sex and Relationships, opens in Piccadilly tomorrow. It will welcome its first visitors with an attraction that will help people understand what is happening in the mind and body during an orgasm.

Whether you are straight, gay, married or single, the academy’s seven interactive zones will cover every aspect of sexual relationships from the first flirtations to fantasy, fetish and sexual health.

Marketing sales director at Amora, Lisa Seddon, explained: “We expect Amora to fill a much-needed gap. People in the UK are more and more interested in exploring their sexuality.

“We are inclusive to everyone and are very accessible although due to the sexual nature of some of the exhibits, Amora it is open to over 18s only.”

She added: “We take visitors on an interactive journey through every stage of their relationship. We are expecting to attract local Londoners after work and perhaps, as it is open till midnight, people will tie it in with their evening plans.” The academy, which has been in development for three years, is the brainchild of entrepreneur Johan Rizki, the French-American investment banker whose vision is to “make the world a sexier place”.

Tracey Cox, sex and relationship expert, said: “You can walk in to that place knowing nothing about sex and come out pretty much knowing everything there is to know, and able to go and have a very satisfying relationship.”

Tickets cost between £12 and £15.
