BIKE WEEK is encouraging Londoners to hit two wheels and ride the daily commute.
But once you’ve perfected your route and gained some much-needed road confidence, the next conundrum is what to wear.
Whatever the weather, cyclists are out braving the elements. This week alone we’ve switched between sunshine and flash floods. So it’s lucky that cyclewear has never been more advanced or fashionable. And we’re talking about technical performance gear rather than a super-cute Topshop hoodie that at best wards off light drizzle.
You need breathable, non-slip fabrics that move when you do, with essential features like deep-back pockets and detachable hoods.
