Lindsay Lohan sends out decoy to brave paparazzi circus outside Zuma

Actress's pal pretends to be Lindsay escaping out the back door

5 June 2009

LINDSAY LOHAN has a new technique to fool the paps: using a lookalike. The star sent out the decoy, who was covering her face, before the real star left Japanese restaurant Zuma with friends - but photographers still got a snap.

'Lindsay' was smuggled through the restaurant’s rear exit while the real Mean Girls star walked out the front door into the media circus outside.

A tipsy-looking Lindsay then headed to the Cuckoo Club but was accidentally hit in the face on the way by one of her security staff.

An onlooker said: “Lindsay was trying to get out unnoticed again, but in the frenzy that surrounded her as she left the club, she was accidentally hit in the face. She winced and grabbed at her cheek - it looked like quite a blow."

At 2am, she returned to her suite at the May Fair Hotel, avoiding on-off girlfriend Sam Ronson’s DJ set at the Notting Hill Arts Club, where Daniel Merriweather, Jade Jagger, Nick Grimshaw, and Sam’s brother Mark and his girlfriend, Josephine de la Baume, headed in the early hours.

Lindsay spent Wednesday night at Sam’s hotel, Blakes in Kensington, after they had both been to Bungalow 8 earlier that evening.

theBuzz’s Luke is DJing at Lindsay’s exclusive bash at Baroque nightclub tonight. There are a few remaining spots on the guest list so email info@baroquelondon.com quoting “thelondonpaper” for your chance to come along...
