CRACK open the champagne. After months of feuding, Kate Moss and Alison Mosshart have kissed and made up.
The model caved into demands from her boyfriend, The Kills’ Jamie Hince, and went to see his bandmate Alison’s second London performance with Jack White’s new band, Dead Weather, after snubbing the supergroup’s first-night set.
Our perfectly placed insider said: “Kate going to the gig is a massive step forward in her relationship with Alison. She was quiet at first but she soon got into it. She was right at the front cheering Alison on. At the end she gave her a hug and told her how much she had enjoyed the gig.”
Kate and Alison fell out earlier this year when Jamie wanted to bring Kate on The Kills’ tour. Alison, 30, was worried the Croydon catwalk queen would get involved in the band’s music – so Kate steered clear of their US leg. And yesterday, we revealed how Kate, 35, and Jamie, 40, had blanked Dead Weather’s intimate gig in Tufnell Park on Tuesday night while Noel Fielding, Carl Barat and Kimberly Stewart cheered Jack and Alison on.
Luckily, we made sure the absent couple knew last night’s gig was at the HMV Forum in Kentish Town so they couldn’t miss out a second time.
Earlier in the evening, Kate Moss knocked back champagne and smoked cigarettes at a salon launch with Kimberly. Then she went on to the St Martins Lane hotel, where she shared a drink with a pal before meeting Jamie in Kentish Town. Even though the model crammed in a short crawl around London, it was an unusually early night for Kate as she and Jamie were tucked up in bed by midnight after leaving Alison’s gig at 11.30pm Still, at least they made it along...
