Tito Jackson: We confronted Michael about his drug habit

MICHAEL JACKSON’S prescription drug habit had got so out of hand that his concerned siblings confronted him about it before he died, the singer’s brother Tito has said.

He said that, together with his brothers Jackie and Randy and his sisters Janet, La Toya and Rebbie, he burst into Jackson’s Neverland ranch to demand he stop taking the drugs.

"We bust right into the house and he was surprised to see us to say the least.

"We went into one of his private rooms and had a discussion with him. Some of us were crying.

"We kept asking him if it was true what we had heard - that he was using drugs"

Although Jackson denied the rumours to his siblings and never let them see him on drugs, Tito, 55, said they were not convinced.

He described how Jackson's staff shut him and his siblings out of the house, even setting up roadblocks to keep them out, the newspaper reported.

Reports emerged last week that Jackson ordered staff to get him prescription drugs and travelled to other states to obtain more pills.

Los Angeles police chief William Breton said last week that detectives investigating the pop star's death were looking at his prescription drug history and trying to talk to his numerous former doctors.
