A PREVIOUSLY unheard Michael Jackson song has leaked onto the internet.
The track, A Place with No Name, is a 24-second sound clip that was recorded by the King of Pop, though it is unclear when it was made.
It bears a striking resemblance to a song by the group America entitled A Horse with No Name, released back in 1971.
America’s manager is reported to have given the go-ahead for Jackson to record the song.
Jim Morey, America’s current manager and Michael’s manager during the 80s and 90s, said: “The band was honoured that Michael chose to do their song and they hope that it becomes available for all Michael’s fans to hear”
As well as the studio album Jackson was working on before his death, there are rumoured to be over 100 out-takes and previously unreleased songs in storage. With rumours of the crippling debts that Jackson faced beginning to surface, it seems that the songs may not be kept private for long.
