SHE’S been a brunette, a red head and now she’s turned blonde bombshell.
After a marathon 11 hours in a Beverly Hills hair salon actress Lindsay Lohan emerged with her striking new do.
The Hollywood It-girl’s hair, previously a strawberry blonde colour, was dyed to a striking peroxide blonde and extra long extensions were added.
The Mean Girls star, wearing a short black dress and a black Fedora hat, was seen chatting and laughing with friends inside the Byron and Tracey Hair Salon, before leaving at 11.30pm sporting her new look.
However, LiLo revealed that the change wasn’t her decision.
Lindsay admitted on Twitter she had it done for work, and she’d even tried to convince her bosses the look was unnecessary.
She tweeted: “It's for a movie. i miss it too :( i was sad when i heard - i begged. Lol”.
Socialite Lindsay appeared in better spirits than at the weekend when she was seen crying outside on-off girlfriend Sam Ronson’s house in the early hours of the morning.
She waited for two hours until DJ Sam arrived home.
The pair’s rocky relationship appears to be floundering with Sam throwing Lindsay’s clothes into the street earlier this week.
