This is the last footage of Heath Ledger on a London street as he filmed

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

Thelondonpaper obtained the footage from Londoner Claire Mills who lived in an apartment just above the street where Heath was filming.

Heath, dressed as a clown, can be seen fleeing from loud gun-shot.

It was the first of five takes and was taken around 9.30pm on Saturday January 19th, just three days before he died of a suspected drugs overdose.

Claire Mills didn't know the significance of the video she shot on her mobile when she stuck her phone out of her window.

"She was going to make a complaint to the Council about the noise and took the footage as proof."

Little did she know that the actor would be dead just a few days later.

Ledger, who was found dead at his Manhattan apartment three days later, is shown dodging bullets and being chased by a gang.

The footage seen here on thelondonpaper.com website has been viewed around the world and featured on hundreds of American TV channels and gossip websites, such as TMZ.com

It emerged today that Johnny Depp is being lined up to finish the film.

Meanwhile, Ledger’s family have put a poignant death notice in an Australian newspaper. Sister Kate wrote: "I can hardly breathe when I try to write this... We were the ultimate in soulmates."

Dad Kim wrote:

"Heatho", "Beef", ... my beautiful boy, so loving, so talented, so independent, so caring, so young... no more chess games mate... this is it, couldn’t beat you anyway! My body aches for the sound of your voice."
