Katie Price flees hate mob in Manchester
Katie Price, aka Jordan, escapes a group of women who chanted 'Team Andre' during the glamour model's night out dressed as a skimpy cowgirl in Manchester
1 September 2009
KATIE PRICE made a mad dash after a hate mob lashed out at the glamour model during a Wild West night in Manchester.
A group of women hurled abuse at the raven-haired mother-of-three, who rolled up to the theme party in a snakeskin hat, plus a black lycra leotard and camel-coloured leather gun holster which left half of her rear on show.
The haters yelled "slag" and chanted "Team Andre" at the 31-year-old, but Katie shouted back at them to tune in to her new ITV2 reality show, and pleaded with them to ignore estranged hubby Peter Andre's new programme, Going It Alone.
She was furious that Peter scored more than 2 million viewers - double the number of her show - when their solo TV series aired last week.
In response, they shouted: "He was too good for you, slag."
"They were obviously Peter Andre fans and made it very clear they had it in for her"
One male onlooker said: "They were obviously Peter Andre fans and made it very clear they had it in for her.
"They started shouting 'Team Andre', really trying to rile her - and it worked."
Jordan lost her cool and showed her jealous streak by saying: "Don't watch Peter Andre's show. Watch mine," as she looked for a way to escape the mob.
Rather than walking the rest of the way to the Living Room restaurant and bar, she fled the hate mob by jumping into a car which drove her the remaining 50 yards to the front door.
Hours later she left the bar with a half-naked man who was dressed as a cowboy and headed to a party at the Circle Club.
The outburst came just a day before Peter was due to perform at Manchester's Gay Pride march on Monday.
The Mysterious Girl singer, who took a vow of celibacy after the split, has said he is ready to date again.
