DING, ding! Round one…
Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto has sparked a war of words with Katy Perry, calling her number one song, I Kissed A Girl, a “boner dyke anthem”.
Ouch.
And Beth, 28, certainly doesn’t hold back with her comments on the pop starlet.
She tells Attitude magazine: “I hate Katy Perry! She's offensive to gay culture, I'm so offended.
“She's just riding on the backs of our culture, without having to pay any of the dues and not being actually lesbian or anything at all.
“She's on the cover of a f*cking gay magazine.”
Beth goes on: “[The song is a] boner dyke anthem for straight girls who like to turn guys on by making out or, like, faking gay.”
And Katy, 24, better watch out, as the larger than life star is also up for a “band feud”.
Well, we know who we’ve got our money on…
