Bikini model Bar Refaeli shows off her own sexy swimwear designs

29 April 2009

CATWALK beauty Bar Refaeli is sure to set pulses racing in this skimpy black bikini - and given she designed it herself, it’s not surprising it suits her so well.

The Israeli-born model, who is dating Hollywood heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio, has been promoting the swimwear for US surf fashion firm Hurley.

The 23-year-old said: “Anyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with finding the perfect little black bikini, always searching for a timeless, sexy suit with the best fit.

“I have never been able to find the perfect bikini, until now. Hurley clothes and swimwear have a sexy and effortless look and feel, so when you wear it you feel confident.”

However, others hoping to achieve the same results merely by purchasing the two-piece are sure to be disappointed as, despite the flattering design, it is clearly Refaeli’s gorgeous curves that make these shots so appealing.

At $120 (£82) the Hurley Little Black Bikini by Bar Refaeli – which goes on sale online on 1 May - doesn’t come cheap.

But at least money from sales goes to charity, with a portion of all proceeds to be donated to Boarding for Breast Cancer - a youth-focused charity that aims to prevent the spread of the disease with early detection and an active lifestyle.

Gorgeous Bar was also grabbing attention earlier this month with another bikini shoot after writhing in the surf for US magazine Sports Illustrated.
