Enrique, what will Anna say?
We don’t know whether Anna Kournikova is going to be worried or reassured by her long-term boyfriend Enrique Iglesias’s outing on Saturday night. TheBuzz learns the Spanish pop star hit lap-dancing club Sophisticats, but inadvertently, on the Marylebone venue’s ladies’ night.
The 32-year-old began his night in a fairly inoffensive manner, with dinner at Knightsbridge eaterie Zuma.
Iglesias then headed to Mahiki where he downed cocktails with a female friend from his record company.
However, it was his next move theBuzz reckons may confuse his tennis star girlfriend as he headed to the lap-dancing club, which boasts “nude cabaret shows” and table-top dancing – featuring male entertainers.
“When Enrique and his female pal arrived, they realised there were men on the tables rather than girls,” a clubber tells us. “Enrique thought it was hilarious and said he was treating his friend to a night out she’d enjoy.”
TheBuzz guesses there may have been some explanatory phone calls to Kournikova from Iglesias yesterday to clear up any confusion over his choice of club.
