RAMBUNCTIOUS enough to hide the sound of barrels being scraped, the third instalment in the prehistoric franchise finds mammoth Manny, Sid the sloth and Diego the sabre-toothed tiger discovering a land of hungry dinosaurs beneath their icy world. It all makes a visual change from the previous two films, though other additions – Simon Pegg as Buck, a one-eyed weasel, and the 3D visuals – are much less welcome. As usual it’s left to rodent Scrat to deliver the laughs in a movie kids will like more than their parents.
