Cert: 15, 112min

Starring: Ben Barnes, Colin Firth

Sexier and darker, Prince Caspian star Barnes takes a walk on the Wilde side as Oscar’s eternal youth, who stays forever beautiful while a sinister portrait in his attic ages for him. Despite a convincing tailspin from naive boy to soul-rotten libertine, Barnes is blown out of the water by Firth as his mentor, who steals every scene. But even the bodice-ripping orgies can’t disguise the fact there’s not much happening under the movie’s beautiful, gothic canvas.
