Twiggy: A Life In Photographs
She may look like a 10-year-old boy in her earliest fashion shots, but Ms Lesley Hornby is one of those rare models that defined an era. See pictures spanning her 40-year career in this new display.

David Spiller: Trying To Get To Heaven Before They Close The Door
Bright panels daubed with pop culture figures like Olive Oyl and scrawled with song lyrics by Elvis, Dylan, Sinatra, Bowie and The Troggs make up this vibrant show.

The V&A has been rejigging and revamping its fabulous permanent collections for a while. The latest unveiling is a new display of ceramic masterpieces, which includes Ming porcelain, an Ancient Greek drinking cup, Chinese teabowls that were rescued from a shipwreck, and a vase painted by Picasso in the 50s.

Thomas Heatherwick: Extrusions
A single piece of aluminium has been squeezed through a machine, using aerospace technology, to make each of six polished benches on display at this pioneering exhibition. Complete with legs, seat and back, the objects are the first bits of furniture to be made in this way, and they double as prototypes for a 100-metre installation of tangled metal that will be constructed next year.

Keith Tyson: Cloud Choreography And Other Emergent Systems
Astrophysics, mathematics and nature are the main inspirations of 2002 Turner Prize-winner Tyson. Take this opportunity to see several groups of his work, from paintings of natural systems like clouds to aluminium sheets that have been treated with chemicals to create swirling, multi-coloured patterns.
