Nestled in the middle of London’s biggest urban farm, you can hear cattle as you chow down on foraged food in this super-green kitchen. Try dishes that include crab apples, blackberries, wild thyme and nettles as well as veg from the allotment, and combine your meal with a gawp at all the animals. There are more than 200 of them – pigs, donkeys, goats, and Michael Jackson’s favourite, llamas. Visit on 6 Sept for a Farmyard Feast (7pm, £20 per person.)

Fuller’s Griffin Brewery Tour
Billed as London’s last remaining traditional family brewery, beer and ale have been made on this site since Oliver Cromwell’s day. Head out west for a one-and-a-half-hour tour, which includes a tasting session of ales, including three that won Camra’s Champion Beer of Britain title.
