gay girl about town Decadent Dilemmas by Jane Czyzselska. Thursday, 15 May 2008

I’m really enjoying the single life again and I have no real desire to pursue anyone while I  work through the issues that caused the fatal cracks in my last few relationships.

Last Sunday at Vauxhall’s Horse Meat Disco, I danced the night away instead of eyeing up the local talent. Sure, I chatted to some gorgeous, fascinating women. But it was the 70s disco music and not the women that really rang my bell.

There’s no harm in a little window shopping, which is what my friend Pam and I agreed we were both up to. We both know we’re not ready to hook up with anyone.  But unlike me, Pam has only recently dipped her toe into the dating pool after breaking up with her long-term partner Jude after ten years together. Here she is today, single and not happy about it.
