thank you to all the Agency Mo-Bro's and Mo-Sista's who took part in London's first official Movember. thelondonmo has raised a mo-ssive £18,597.90 for The Prostate Cancer Charity. This total includes the money raised by the media agencies, thelondonpaper team and News International. The agency teams worked exceptionally hard for movember raising cash and growing some truly terrific (or terrifying!) mo's. Check out the winners of thelondonmo's top awards below. Movember, the month formerly known as November, was born in 2003 when a couple of Australian mates decided the 'Mo' (Australian slang for moustache) was in dire need of a comeback. They chose to support prostate cancer because of the lack of attention to this serious disease that one in eleven men will encounter in their lifetime. Movember has continued to gain 'mo'-mentum. Last year over 56,000 Mo-Bros rose to the challenge raising close to £4 million. This year the initiative has gone global with launches in US, Canada and London.

- Mos are sported by over 3.5 million adult males in Eastern Europe.
