thelondonpaper has opened an industry-wide debate into the future of commercial media. The concept of Generation Free - consumers who demand, and get, something for nothing - was launched to an invited audience of media executives at a conference at London's Mayfair Hotel. Keynote speakers included thelondonpaper editor Stefano Hatfield, David Lucas of YouGov and William Higham of Next Big Thing, while Terry Watkins of TWResearch led two live focus groups.
