thelondonpaper.com brand

thelondonpaper is the first newspaper to reflect the energy, youth and success of 21st-century London. Together with its thelondonpaper.com website, the paper celebrates the vitality, diversity and fun that is the pervading mood of a city that can lay claim to being the commercial, cultural and sporting centre of the world. Through its contemporary design and informative but entertaining content, thelondonpaper is deliberately not like many existing papers, which no longer speak to a younger, multi cultural readership. Instead, with a dynamic and inclusive tone of voice and carefully targeted mix of the serious and the not-so-serious, we try to celebrate the city and live London - just like our audience.

thelondonnews

The greatest city in the world is at the heart of all news reporting at thelondonpaper.

Our coverage is fast, punchy, incisive and above all relevant to the lives of our readers and tailored to the afternoon commute. We report both London and the world–embracing the good, the bad, and frequently the amazing.

Our content is strong on pictures, both the pick of the day’s celebrity photos and news from around the word. We also keep our news section different and lively with regular elements including “Funny Old World”, a daily digest of wacky stories from around the globe, “Get the Look”, in which our fashion team give tips on how to get the outfit of a celebrity pictured in a news shot, and “Watercooler Moment”, a wry take on a daily talking point.

Our news section also features a daily greenlondon page covering environmental news and issues most relevant to Londoners.

Our news team, like our readers, make a positive choice to live in London, recognising the flaws but revelling in the extraordinary buzz which is the unique hallmark of the city.

We had half a million readers last monthWe had one million page impressions in our website
It has the perfect balance of what I need to know and more importantly what I don’t need to know. It’s witty and entertaining – highly recommended."
Helen Curtin, Press Manager, Walker Media
For me, I really like the idea of the paper- and I like the fact that they are trying to do something different with press. I like the fact that it is picture heavy early on and all the going out/staying in and reviews sections."
Rod Winter Reynolds, Media Buyer, New PHD

I am really liking

thelondonpaper; as well as the very London centric editorial feel, I am always seeing integrated ads which look really cool and give it a really individual look, setting it apart from the others! It would be a great environment for some very impactful and creative projects... watch this space..."

Kim Iwanczyszyn, Associate Director, MediaCom

Already for me the purple jackets of

thelondonpaper are as much a part of London as the Evening Standard vendors. Great product and essential for the Tube journey home!"
